Dear Friends and Family,

God has given me a fantastic opportunity through Xtreme Impact to reach Thailand with the Gospel this summer from July 4-25! I will meet my team at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia for several days of training and ministry preparation. Then, my team will travel to Thailand for two and a half weeks to communicate the true meaning of our faith, teach English to students in all grades, and build relationships with youth through camps, sports, and drama.

I am thrilled to be a part of Xtreme Impact this summer because I believe that God is calling me to a career in full time missions in Africa through nursing. Participating in XI will be an invaluable experience as I begin to train and prepare for entering the mission field. I have a passion for cross-cultural missions, and I believe that God has blessed me with this amazing opportunity to use leadership and ministry skills and to grow in my faith as I strive to adapt these skills to a new culture. I cannot wait to see how God is going to change me and my teammates and help us grow through the XI program. I look forward to sharing the hope and joy I’ve found in my relationship with Jesus Christ with the people I meet. I’m trusting God to help me deal with the challenges that the language and cultural barriers will present.

I would love for you to partner with me through prayer as I prepare and serve this summer. Please pray:

· that God will help me be prepared for how He wants to use me this summer,

· that my team will be unified in our focus on following God and ministering to others, and

· that God will supply my financial need for this ministry opportunity.

In addition to the need for prayer support for this summer, I also have a financial need. Each team member is responsible for raising his or her own support for training, food, transportation, and other related expenses, equaling $3800.
